Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our Manufacturing team. You will assemble switchboard frames and mechanical components per engineering specs, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will read and interpret drawings, use hand tools, and support production schedules. This role offers growth into Lead Mechanical Assembler and other manufacturing leadership positions within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble UL-891 switchboard frames, structures, and mechanical components per engineering drawings.
• Install hardware, mounting systems, and support structures.
• Verify assembly accuracy and alignment throughout the production process.
• Support production schedules through efficient task completion.
• Collaborate with Electrical Assemblers and other personnel to ensure smooth flow.
