Job summary

Electronic Power Design (EPD) in Houston is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead daily electrical assembly operations for UL-891 switchboards and control systems. You will assign and monitor work, ensure adherence to drawings and customer specs, and coordinate across Engineering, Planning, and Quality teams.

You will mentor a team of assemblers, conduct performance evaluations, and help with recruiting and training initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of electrical assembly experience.
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead daily electrical assembly operations for UL-891 switchboards, control systems, and custom electrical equipment.
Assign work based on production priorities while monitoring workflow, labor utilization, and schedule adherence.
Ensure products are assembled according to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Coordinate activities with Engineering, Planning, Mechanical Assembly, Warehouse, and Quality teams.
Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop a team of electrical assemblers.
Conduct performance evaluations and support employee training and development.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and cross-training initiatives.
