Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our Manufacturing team. You will assemble switchboards and electrical control systems, following engineering drawings and UL-891 standards to ensure quality and safety.

You will collaborate with Supervisors, Mechanical Assemblers, Engineering, and Production to meet production schedules and deliver reliable products. Prior electrical assembly experience and ability to read schematics are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certificate in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical hand tools and assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components, wiring systems, and switchboard assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Install wiring, devices, control components, and electrical hardware accurately and efficiently.
• Perform assembly activities in accordance with UL-891 manufacturing standards.
• Verify completed work meets quality and workmanship requirements.
• Support production schedules through timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct quality inspections and report defects or non-conformances.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
