Job summary

Aquatech in Canonsburg, PA is seeking a full-time Mechanical Assembler to read drawings, assemble components, and work with power and hand tools in a safety-conscious environment. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years in a mechanical/industrial setting; piping knowledge is a plus.

You will contribute to quality and efficiency on the shop floor. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety policies, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two (2) or more years' experience working in a mechanical and industrial environment.
• Reading mechanical drawings (piping knowledge a plus).
• Strong math skills (fractions and metrics).
• Attention to detail with high tolerances and finish.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Must maintain a positive attitude and be an effective team member.

Responsibilities

• Read mechanical drawings and interpret specifications.
• Operate power tools: drill, press, band saw, cut-off saw, etc.
• Use measuring tools: tape measure, spirit level, plumb bob.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with team to meet schedules and maintain quality.
