Job summary

Gala Industries, Inc. in Virginia seeks a meticulous Assembler, Mechanical to build Maag equipment including dryers and TWS systems on the Eagle Rock floor. You will reference 2D drawings, assemble rotors, housings, piping, and related components while hitting customer delivery dates.

Responsibilities emphasize quality, safety, and teamwork; prior experience in assembly/manufacturing or auto repair is valued. The role may require overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).
• Experience in assembly shops or manufacturing locations.
• Experience in auto repair/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble dryer rotors and housings using hand tools and power tools per 2D drawings.
• Balance rotors on all size dryers using overhead cranes and balancing equipment.
• Build and mount dryer components using hand and air tools per drawings.
• Perform leak tests on dryer and tank housings with soap water and air.
• Engrave equipment name plates using engraver or lazer/dot peen marker.
• Fill out check sheets to ensure quality of the product.
• Assemble piping assemblies using hand and power tools.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.
