Job summary

MKS Instruments in Methuen, MA is seeking an Assembler 2 to perform a range of mechanical assembly tasks on assemblies and sub-assemblies. You will set up and adjust work, holding tolerances to written instructions and drawings, and may test equipment and products.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations, you will join a team-focused environment, follow written procedures, use hand tools, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly and following written instructions.
• Ability to read drawings and operate hand tools.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Oracle and Lean manufacturing preferred.
• Team-oriented manufacturing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations.
• Set up and adjust work, maintaining tolerances per drawings.
• Leak test assemblies and test equipment or products when required.
• Contribute to other repetitive tasks as assigned by supervisor.
