Job summary

MKS Instruments in Methuen, MA is seeking an Assembler 2 to perform a range of mechanical assembly tasks on assemblies and sub-assemblies. You will set up and adjust work, holding tolerances to written instructions and drawings, and may test equipment and products.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations, you will join a team-focused environment, follow written procedures, use hand tools, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Job description

As Assembler 2you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to written instructions and established drawings.

May be responsible for testing equipment and products.

In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Skills You Bring:

• * Good organizational and communication skills
• * 0-1 Years Assembly experience

Preferred Skills: (Optional)

• Proficiency in Oracle and Lean manufacturing preferred

• Highly motivated and able to function in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time Occasionally moves/positions object up to 20 pounds

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $14.75 - 24.58 hr is range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
