Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking an Assembler 2 to build electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical products from detailed instructions. You will inspect for quality, document production steps, and participate in continuous improvement with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.

This role requires reading drawings and schematics, using hand tools, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in electronic, electro-mechanical, or mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, work instructions, and schematics.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical products following detailed work instructions and documentation.
• Inspect work to ensure products meet quality standards before moving to the next operation.
• Accurately complete production documentation and record non-conformances.
• Support process improvements by identifying assembly challenges and providing feedback to documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 6S practices.
