Job summary

MKS Instruments in Andover, MA is seeking an Assembler 1 to assemble and test units in the Sensor Department, reporting to the supervisor. This contract position with the Davis Companies is onsite at MKS Inc in Andover and could convert to a permanent role.

You will perform wiring, hand soldering, component installation, and testing, following blueprints and methods, with 0–1 years of related experience and the ability to work second or third shifts in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of job-related work experience.
• Able to work second or third shifts.
• Experience with Windows-based computers (PC environment).

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
