Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Engineered Pump Division in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. You will assemble, disassemble, hydrotest, mount, align and pipe rotating equipment according to drawings and procedures.

You will operate hand and machine tools, use torque wrenches and dial indicators, and work with cranes and forklifts. A strong safety mindset and ability to read drawings are essential; candidates must be US citizens and capable of obtaining security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly, piping/tubing, and equipment alignment.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, manuals, and procedures.
• Proficiency with torque-related tools and dial indicators.
• Basic computer skills for timekeeping and viewing drawings.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, mount, align, and pipe complex rotating equipment.
• Perform torquing, sealing, gasket cutting, and bedplate work.
• Conduct hydrotesting, balancing, and troubleshoot parts.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and test equipment safely.
• Move materials safely using cranes and forklifts.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines.
