Job summary

Dover Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build Maag equipment at the Eagle Rock facility in Virginia. The role emphasizes assembling dryers, aligning rotors, mounting components, and performing leak tests within a safety-conscious environment.

The position requires reading 2D drawings, using hand and power tools, and occasional overtime or weekend work as needed. Benefits and company culture support teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical skills a plus.
• Desirable mechanical background and understanding of tools.
• Desirable experience in other assembly shops/manufacturing locations.
• Desirable experience in auto repair/maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; highly organized; self-starter; team player; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assemble dryer rotors and housings using hand tools and power tools per 2D drawings.
• Balance rotors on all size dryers using overhead cranes and balancing equipment.
• Mount dryer component parts such as agglomerate catchers and pellet diverter valves per drawings.
• Perform leak tests on dryer and tank housings using soap water and air.
• Engrave equipment name plates using engraver (or) laser marker (or) dot peen marker.
• Fill out check sheets while assembling the equipment to ensure the quality of the product meets expectation.
• Put together piping assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.
