Job summary

The Fresh Market in Miami, FL is seeking a Meat Cutter responsible for managing, cutting, and trimming meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards, while assisting with inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other detail-oriented operations that create an impeccable guest experience.

You will cut, portion, and merchandise prime meats, monitor case temperatures, ensure freshness, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests in finding products and meal solutions
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards while managing quality levels
• Monitor the temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas
• Enforce department safety, receiving, stocking, and unloading procedures to ensure freshness and quality
