The Fresh Market in Plantation, FL is seeking a Meat Cutter to cut, trim, and prepare meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards while supporting inventory, pricing, and merchandising tasks.

This fast-paced role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and food safety policies, and the ability to work flexible weekends and holidays. Certification within 90 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests in finding products and meal solutions across departments.
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim a variety of meat and seafood products while maintaining quality per TFM standards.
• Monitor the temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas.
• Enforce department practices regarding receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries to ensure freshness and quality.
• Adhere to safety requirements and policies, including food safety per TFM and applicable laws.
