Job summary

US1354 Buckhead Meat & Seafood Mid-Atlantic is seeking a meat processing associate. You will cut to yield specs, communicate discrepancies to supervision, pull inventory, label items, and record yield data. Maintain USDA compliance and safety standards while working in cold, wet environments.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and communicates in English.
• Prior experience with portion cutting meat.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and conversions for orders.

Responsibilities

• Accurately cut to trim and yield specifications per cut tickets.
• Communicate discrepancies between tickets and customer purchases to supervisor.
• Pull raw materials and pre-cut inventory by code dates.
• Label products and equipment to meet regulations.
• Record data for yield tests and maintain inventory levels as directed.
• Ensure product specs meet guidelines and maintain USDA compliance.
• Assemble/tear down equipment at shift start/end; clean and store tools.
• Assist in safety program and report unsafe conditions.
