Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Cutter in the Virginia area. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including special cuts, to meet department standards and serve Members efficiently.

You will maintain sanitation and inventory, assist with seafood and deli sections as needed, and uphold club policies while delivering a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to packaging standards.
• Maintains meat department inventory and ensures proper stock levels.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, fixtures, and display cases in the meat department.
• Assists Members with meat selections and special meat arrangements.
