Job summary

Lennox in Ohio is hiring an Assembler/Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations by assembling products to specification and supplying materials to production lines.

You will read work orders and blueprints, operate small equipment, inspect quality, maintain material flow, and help with inventory. High School diploma and 1-2 years manufacturing experience required; OT and weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work 8 hour/5 day schedule.
• Must be flexible for overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and operate assembly equipment per work orders and blueprints.
• Supply raw materials to production and move finished goods across the facility.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and report issues.
• Inspect material quality during fabrication and record production quotas.
• Notify supervisor if a machine malfunctions and assist other departments as needed.
