Job summary

Lennox International is seeking an entry-level assembler to build sub-assemblies and complete units under direct supervision. You will follow blueprints, use hand tools, inspect quality, report defects, and support safety standards on the shop floor.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to read diagrams, lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and learn to operate basic machinery. This hourly role qualifies for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
• Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards.
• Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
• May perform other limited assembly, fabrication, production, or operator tasks of a standard nature.
