Job summary

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and flexibility to support multiple functions on the production floor. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints or CAD files.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience required.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in at least CNC, tacking, lamination, engraving, or card finishing.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD files.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; adaptability to changing priorities.
• Lean manufacturing familiarity and ISO quality systems understanding preferred.
• Basic computer literacy for equipment interfaces and data reporting.
• Experience with measurement tools (depth gauges, micrometers, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines, lamination, engraving, or card finishing equipment.
• Perform tacking operations with precision per production requirements.
• Inspect output quality at each stage and verify against specifications.
• Document production data, parameters, and quality checks in ERP or manual logs.
• Flex between functions and workstations based on demand.
• Adapt to workflow changes and scheduling to achieve production goals.
• Collaborate with supervisors to address bottlenecks and resource gaps.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Report malfunctions or hazards promptly to minimize downtime.
• Select program files and adjust offsets according to material thickness.
