Job summary

CompoSecure is seeking an experienced maintenance/operator to set up, repair, and run precision machinery for high-quality production. You will train new hires and manage the Muhlbauer equipment to meet production goals.

You will perform start-up/shut-down, changeovers, and calibrations, while ensuring safety, logs, and quality are maintained. Strong troubleshooting and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years or more of relevant experience.
• High School or GED Diploma required; Technical School Certification/Degree preferred.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
• Must have knowledge of mathematical units of measure; able to work with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Capable of programming, setting up and maintaining various equipment; familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Train new hires in machine operation and document training.
• Lead productivity, maintenance, and quality of Muhlbauer equipment.
• Own machine start-up, shut down and changeover processes.
• Set up machines for specific jobs and new programs as needed.
• Verify machine settings and inspect parts for tolerance during production.
• Maintain preventative maintenance and spare parts inventory; complete logs.
