Job summary

CompoSecure LLC, based in New Jersey, is seeking a motivated CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will create CNC programs from engineering drawings, set up equipment, and manufacture precision parts using HAAS, FADAL, and DMG-MORI machines, as well as manual mills and lathes.

Qualifications

Experience as CNC Machinist, CNC Setup Technician, CNC Programmer or similar manufacturing role.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Understanding of machining practices, cutting tools, speeds/feeds, and materials like Aluminum, steel, Stainless Steel and plastics.
Ability to use measuring/inspection equipment accurately.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Program and manufacture parts, create CNC programs from drawings/models.
Create and update CAD/CAM drawings and machining programs.
Select cutting tools and methods for each job.
Set up and operate CNC machines (HAAS, FADAL, DMG-MORI) and manual equipment.
