Job summary

IDEX Corporation, via its Advanced Thin Films unit, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing in a fast-paced optical components facility, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

You will translate schedules into action, prioritize work, coach staff, and partner with Planning, Engineering and Quality to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory or direct people leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
• Translate production schedules and priorities into clear daily expectations for the team.
• Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to address issues and support customer commitments.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees with strong on-floor presence.
