Job summary

IDEX Materials Science Solutions, a unit of IDEX Corporation, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production value streams within the Center of Excellence. You will design fixtures, develop processes, and ensure quality for optical components, machined parts, and coatings.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, SolidWorks proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. On-site role with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or optomechanical engineering.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD system.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide production engineering support to one or more value streams.
• Design fixtures, tools, prototypes using SolidWorks.
• Maintain design records, routings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Train operators and technicians.
• Lead design/development for new products with process controls.
• Lead root cause investigations with QA and corrective actions.
• Identify and drive process and capability improvements.
• Maintain safe work practices.
