South Bay Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and implement efficient manufacturing processes for precision components.

The role focuses on NPI, cost reduction, quality improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and QA teams. You will document processes, create BOMs and work instructions, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 3+ years in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Experience supporting machining, fabrication, assembly, or related environments.
• Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and NPI experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities and ensure smooth transfer of new products to manufacturing.
• Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement to boost productivity and quality.
• Create and maintain BOMs, work instructions, procedures, and process drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing, engineering, and quality issues.
• Provide technical support to machining, fabrication, assembly, and QA teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production to meet objectives.
• Develop operator training on processes, equipment, and best practices.
