Job summary

SNI Companies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for prototype to medium-volume production. You will improve efficiency, product quality, and performance while supporting new product introductions in a cross-functional setting with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production.

The role focuses on hands-on process development on the shop floor, emphasizing continuous improvement and data-driven problem solving.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with Lean, statistical analysis and process improvement.
Knowledge of CAD, tooling, automation, and production processes.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies.
Improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and remove bottlenecks using Lean principles.
Create work instructions, process docs, and workflows.
Design production workstations, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
Support AOI, conformal coating, and other automated processes.
Perform Gage R&R, process capability studies, DOE, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production on new product introductions and improvements.
Support capital equipment projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.
