Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a precision manufacturing client in the Danvers, MA area. You will bridge engineering and production, analyze processes, and drive improvements across machining and fabrication.

The successful candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree, CNC/GD&T know-how, CAD/CAM experience (Mastercam preferred), and a track record of reducing cycle times and improving quality. This is a full-time role offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in machining/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and GD&T.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret engineering specs.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software; Mastercam preferred.
• Knowledge of multi-axis milling, turning, Swiss operations.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between engineering and production teams.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues with corrective actions.
• Analyze and optimize processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop and enhance manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
• Reduce cycle times, improve tooling performance, and fixture development.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to monitor performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and 5S.
• Implement preventive and corrective actions with proper documentation.
