Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for a high-impact manufacturing site. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, driving Lean, Six Sigma and automation initiatives to improve safety, quality and productivity.

You will partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS and HR to align engineering priorities with business goals, oversee process development and standardization, and support new product introductions from development to full-scale production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in CNC machining, fabrication, assembly or precision manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and driving measurable operational results.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to coach and develop talent.
• Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across levels.
• Experience with ERP systems, CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proactive hands-on leadership focused on innovation and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor a multidisciplinary manufacturing engineering team.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focusing on safety, quality, productivity and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and support growth.
• Act as the site's technical authority for machining, tooling and manufacturing challenges.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS and HR to align engineering objectives with business priorities.
• Oversee process development, documentation and standardization across operations.
• Support new product introductions by transitioning products from development to full-scale production.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Identify opportunities for automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to drive informed decisions.
