Job summary

ResourceMFG in Humble, Texas is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines, fabricating, modifying, and repairing precision parts in a fast-paced shop.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, interpret engineering drawings, and use HPGE and inspection tools to verify conformance; GD&T knowledge is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of machining experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Strong experience with manual lathes and manual milling machines required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T preferred.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and related machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, customer orders, work instructions, and technical specifications.
• Perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, boring, threading, and deburring.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify product conformance.
• Inspect parts throughout the manufacturing process to verify compliance with specifications.
• Identify machining issues or equipment malfunctions and adjust to maintain quality.
