Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of manual machining experience with HBM and line bore operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools: micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
• Understand machine setup, tooling selection, and machining parameters.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up horizontal boring mills and line boring machines for maintenance, repair, and fabrication.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings related to HBM work.
• Perform drilling, boring, milling, and reaming as required.
• Use precise measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform routine machine upkeep.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to meet timelines and quality.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures in the shop.
