HMH is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for our Houston, TX facility. The role involves setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precise parts according to drawings and tolerances. You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and maintain quality and safety standards on a fast-paced shop floor.

Required skills include GD&T knowledge, G&M coding familiarity, and the ability to work independently within a team, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and safety.
• Experience with turning, facing, boring, drilling, threading, grooving on lathes.
• Competent with G&M codes, feeds and speeds, and editing programs as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and tolerances.

Responsabilités

• Perform lathe operations including turning, facing, boring, drilling, threading and grooving.
• Set up and adjust lathes for different jobs with minimal supervision.
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges; document results.
• Inspect work to ensure conformity with prints and report nonconformities.
