Job summary

ResourceMFG is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist II in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating manual lathes, mills, grinders, and drilling equipment to perform precision machining, repair work, and custom fabrication in a job shop setting.

You will read blueprints and GD&T, set up tooling, calculate speeds and feeds, and inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, ensuring components meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manual machining experience.
• Strong proficiency with manual lathes and milling machines.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and perform precision inspections.
• Experience with custom fabrication, repair machining, and blueprint reading.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• CNC setup or operation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
