Job summary

Flowserve US Inc in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Machinist to manufacture new pump components and repair existing equipment in a highly regulated environment. You will operate manual and CNC tools, read blueprints, and ensure dimensional accuracy.

The role requires precise measurement with micrometers, calipers, and GD&T, plus documenting results and collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to improve processes. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, tolerances and surface finish requirements.
• Experience using precise measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and depth gauges.
• High School Diploma or GED; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools including engine lathes, milling machines, horizontal boring mills, and vertical turret lathes.
• Machine, repair, and refurbish pump components to engineering specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Perform in-process and final dimensional inspections with precision measuring equipment.
