Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of machining experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Windows-based systems.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (lathe, mill, boring mills).
• Machine, repair, and refurbish pump components to spec.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, tolerances, and finish requirements.
• Perform in-process and final dimensional inspections with precision tools.
• Verify calibration status of inspection equipment before use.
• Document machining and inspection results; maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
