Job summary

Fairway Staffing Solutions seeks a Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering specs. The ideal candidate will read blueprints and use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet quality standards.

Work will be in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork. AM shift available; hours to be determined.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Experience setting up and operating manual and CNC machines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection.
• Commitment to safety and lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, grinders.
• Read blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools.
• Perform tool changes and machine adjustments.
• Document production and inspection results.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team to improve processes.
• Monitor operations and troubleshoot issues.
