Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and run mills and lathes, verify first articles, and read GD&T blueprints. You’ll use CMMs, calipers, and micrometers to assure part conformance and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Expect a demanding aerospace‑oriented environment that emphasizes AS9100 and ITAR compliance, strict quality, safety, and teamwork while delivering on daily schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience on mills or lathes.
• 3+ years of hands-on CNC set-up experience.
• Reading, math, problem-solving, and comprehension skills typically associated with completion of 12th grade.
• Technical college training in Machining is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own set-up on CNC lathes and/or mills; confirm tools match the tool list and complete first-article validation.
• Verify parts meet specifications using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and vision systems.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints (GD&T), sketches, and written/verbal instructions.
