Job summary

Niron Magnetics is seeking a Machinist II in Minneapolis, MN. You will program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machines with HAAS controls, focusing on vertical milling.

Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and R&D to ensure parts meet design intent and are delivered on time for prototypes and production builds. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing or machining, can read drawings, and are comfortable with precision inspection.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing, machining, fabrication, or related technical experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical work instructions.
• Experience operating manual and/or CNC machine tools.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machining equipment to manufacture magnets and assemblies.
• Interpret engineering drawings and follow work instructions.
• Verify dimensional compliance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Perform tool changes, machine adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
