Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up machine shop equipment including CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tighten tolerances.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, depth gauges and other precision tools.
• Knowledge of decimal and metric dimensioning and tolerances.
• Experience validating machining programs and ensuring quality output.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate finish and engine lathe equipment to produce complex components and meet deadlines.
• Load materials, measure tooling, and input tool offsets.
• Set up and run lathes; record precise measurements for high-tolerance parts.
• Verify components for accuracy, safety, and quality; document dimensions.
• Adjust feeds, speeds and offsets to optimize run times and accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.
