Siemens in Wendell, North Carolina, is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Operator to join the Protection and Automation Panel Assembly Workshop on first shift. You will operate CNC, KOMAX, laser-marking, and tube-marking equipment to machine components, prepare wires, and identify parts, while following safe, standardized processes.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, cross-training across stations, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing

Competenze

• 1+ years in manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation.
• Able to follow work instructions, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Basic mechanical skills and use of hand tools and measurement devices.
• Willing to cross-train and rotate across stations as needed.
• Basic English to read instructions and communicate safety concerns.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required by the job.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Operate CNC equipment to cut, drill, or machine panel components per drawings.
• Operate KOMAX or similar wire-processing equipment to prepare wires and bundles.
• Use laser-marking and tube-marking equipment for accurate identification.
• Set up equipment, load materials, and verify machine settings before production.
• Monitor equipment during runs and address issues affecting safety or quality.
• Inspect machined components, wire terminations, labels, and tubing for conformance.
• Perform routine changeovers, operator adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Escalate issues that cannot be corrected safely at the workstation.
• Follow standardized work instructions and safety requirements at all times.
• Maintain organized work area and prevent damage or misidentification.
• Cross-train and rotate among CNC, wire-processing, laser-marking, and related stations.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring problems and communicating findings.
