Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Machinist I for the second shift at its Radford, Virginia facility. The role involves CNC and manual machining, setting up machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring tight tolerances and high-quality output.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to optimize processes and maintain production efficiency in a fully onsite environment. A relevant associate degree is preferred along with strong machining skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Machine Technology or related field, or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong math skills and precision in tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines for precision parts.
• Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling for accurate production.
• Interpret blueprints and specs to determine machining methods.
• Inspect parts to ensure tolerances and quality.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to maintain quality.
• Design or modify fixtures to support production needs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow procedures.
