Job summary

SMC Corporation seeks a Manual Machinist to accurately perform machining tasks per work instructions for SMC components. You will operate manual/CNC setups, read blueprints, and apply proper feeds and speeds while adhering to safety and QA standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of CNC setup experience, ability to work overtime as needed, and good English communication. Training on SMC ERP systems and brand of CNC machines will be provided.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of prior CNC machine setup experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Follow department work instructions and machining standards.
• Set up Manual/CNC/CNC – Setup operator functions.
• Process paperwork tied to machining standards and QA.
