Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a skilled machinist in San Leandro, CA. The role involves operating lathes, drills, saws, and grinders to produce precision casting parts, with CNC milling and CAM-based programming to specifications.

You will read and edit G-Code, inspect parts, and ensure high-quality outcomes on a site-based team. The position emphasizes reading complex drawings, following technique cards, and maintaining strict safety and housekeeping standards in a manufacturing

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow complex drawings, sketches and route cards.
• 1–3 years of applied trades training or equivalent.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.
• Ability to lift 15–20 pounds frequently and 35 pounds occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a wide range of machining operations using lathes, drills, saws, and grinders to complete casting parts.
• Program CNC mills using CAM software to produce precision components to engineering specs.
• Read, interpret and edit G-Code to optimize machining performance.
• Check finished parts for conformance to specs and document results.
• Follow safety and housekeeping practices to maintain a safe work environment.
