KLA Industries in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes, producing precision parts for large equipment in a low-volume shop. You will read prints, select tooling, and program/edit CNC code to maintain quality and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of hands-on CNC and manual machining experience, strong GD&T and measurement skills, and a high school diploma or machining certification. Safety and accuracy are top priorities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on CNC and manual machining experience.
• Low-volume production environment experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes to print specs.
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine tolerances.
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for each job.
• Write and prove CNC programs; troubleshoot during runs.
• Inspect parts with calipers and micrometers to verify specs.
• Document completed work and downtime as required.
• Coordinate with fabrication/assembly to keep on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per shop standards.
