Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience utilizing machine tools to perform precision metal cutting operations; this may include Technical school education
• Technical school education in machining, preferred
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and sketches
• Must be able to read gages, micrometers, scales, calipers and related precision measuring equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform work on machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related equipment to support production.
• Work with operators and Engineering on specific manual modifications to existing tooling
• Will be expected to do quality work and care for equipment.
• Must keep work area clean and orderly.
• Make out production reports, timecards and other reports or forms as required.
• Demonstrates a knowledge of and commitment to learn manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.
• Maintains full compliance and conducts all activities in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.
