Job summary

States Manufacturing LLC seeks a Production Supervisor to lead employees across multiple manufacturing functions, drive productivity and quality, and manage training and performance reviews. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong problem-solving abilities to meet production goals.

You will oversee scheduling, tooling coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safety and policy compliance. Strong communication and Lean knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 5 years in a combined production and leadership role in a high precision machining environment.
• Proficient reading, writing, and spoken English.
• Knowledge of MS Office, CAD/CAM and manufacturing software; ability to access and retrieve information.
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems and move teams toward improvement.
• Ability to interpret data charts and set performance goals.
• Strong ability to grasp quality issues and assist staff in solving technical problems.
• Strong communication to interpret procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees across multiple functional areas in manufacturing.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff; plan and direct work.
• Ensure productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with policies.
• Provide guidance to Leaders and shift teams; manage production schedules and resources.
• Coordinate tooling and supply orders with vendors and purchasing.
• Communicate productivity and quality issues to management.
• Lead Lean initiatives to eliminate waste and improve processes.
• Coach on-the-job training and participate in leadership meetings.
