Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate proficiently in English, both oral and written.
• Lean methodologies, concepts and practices knowledge.
• Competencies include: result orientation, initiative, intercultural behavior, developing others, effective communication, performance management, planning.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities of production employees including hiring, motivating, training and performance management.
• Monitors production levels and reports delays to managers and planning when delays occur; estimates time of delay.
• Ensures that established policies, rules, regulations and procedures are followed in all areas of production.
• Maintains the established schedule by coordinating movement of parts through production with supply chain to set weekly capacity based on equipment, manpower and raw materials.
