Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. is seeking skilled Machine Operators to drive precision in manufacturing mechanical power transmission components and related systems.

You will follow instructions, set up fixtures, operate CNC/other machines, and inspect outputs for quality while complying with safety and cleanliness standards. The role emphasizes reliability, adaptability, and collaboration with supervisors and teammates in a non-climate-controlled shop, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with growth

Qualifications

• Math skills to read and implement instructions and logs.
• Must be physically able to lift, push, pull, and position components.
• Understand and follow company policies, timekeeping, and shift rules.
• Stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
• Learn fundamental machining concepts and use measuring devices.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to optimize processes.
• Attention to detail to maintain quality standards.
• Demonstrate reliability and consistent performance.
• Detail-oriented with flexibility to respond to production changes.

Responsabilités

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions.
• Install and align dies, punches, blades, or fixtures to ensure proper machine operation.
• Set up and operate machines (lathes, mills, drills, presses, CNC) per specs.
• Inspect finished products and measure to verify tolerances with calipers and gauges.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety: wear PPE and follow safety rules; use crane or buddy system for heavy parts.
• Assist in other areas or departments as needed.
