Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a skilled Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 2:30 PM–1:00 AM) to join a team that values precision in producing mechanical power transmission components and forgings. You will follow process sheets, set up fixtures, run lathes, mills, drills, and CNC machines, and monitor quality with calipers and gauges.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow English instructions and logs.
• Physically able to lift heavy items.
• Willing to work and comply with company policies.
• Must learn fundamental machining concepts and use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or supervisor directions.
• Install machine fixtures and align dies.
• Operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines.
• Inspect finished parts for tolerances using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; use PPE and assist with safe material handling.
• Support other areas as needed.
