Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a machine operator.
• Background working in a job shop environment.
• Knowledge of gauges, dials, and indicators to verify machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, or grinders.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units with micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
• Monitor machine feed and speed during machining processes.
• Review information from materials and environment to detect problems.
• Inspect equipment or materials to identify the cause of errors or defects.
