Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED and CNC mill/lathe setup experience.
• Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to set up machines.
• Maintains setup procedures and writes/updates standard work for critical processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes, mills, and manual machines for production.
• Inspect parts to print with dimensional/visual checks.
• Transfer programs to CNC machines using computer systems.
• Maintain and update setup procedures for critical processes.
• Mentor less experienced machinists on machine setup.
