Job summary

Brasstech is seeking a CNC Machinist/Set Up to prepare and run CNC mills, lathes, and manual machines in a production-paced environment. You will set up jobs, verify part quality, and document measurements.

You will use blueprints, computer transfers of programs, and tooling instructions while maintaining tight tolerances and ensuring safe operations. Weekends/holidays may be required in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with CNC mill and lathe setup.

Responsibilities

• Set-up CNC lathes, mills, manual machines and inspection equipment for production jobs.
• Maintain and update setup procedures for critical processes.
• Work from blueprints, routings and tooling instructions to hold close tolerances.
• Transfer programs to CNC machines using computer skills.
• Inspect parts to print and document measurements.
