Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator in Milford, CT to keep production moving and ensure quality. You will service and repair production equipment, monitor performance and assist with safety and maintenance tasks on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and analytical skills are required.
• Must always have personal tools and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.
• 2 - 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and understand equipment manuals and safety policies.
• Perform equipment adjustments, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Monitor performance and report potential problems to supervisors.
• Maintain logs and calibrate machinery to performance standards.
• Provide hands-on training to junior technicians.
